Why me:
I give spaces a peculiar sense of character.
I went back to school at 48 to follow my dreams of making the world a more beautiful and interesting place. I'll graduate from SCAD in 2027, exactly 30 years after my original college graduation. I'm excited to add expertise in Interior Design, Printmaking, and Art History to my liberal arts background.
My career interests are boutique hotel design (especially themed spaces), movie sets, and wall treatments. I'm obsessed with classic and modern art, wallpaper (new and vintage), and retro decor. Kitschy maximalism is my favorite, but I love an funky modern look, too.
Vision: To be recognized as a designer who creates spaces so unique and memorable that they’re characters of their own.
Mission: I use my curious and quirky design eye to bring abundant personality to the spaces I create, so people will experience wonder, nostalgia, comfort, and joy in extraordinary interiors.
Values:
•To inspire an abundant sense wonder and joy.
•To wander through the unknowns with curiosity.
•To generously offer and receive new ideas and partnerships.
•To make new, or work through, instead of settling for less.
•To bring a restorative sense of diversity to vintage looks.
•To honor local people’s past, present, and future.
•To honor and preserve the earth as much as possible.
